PHILOSOPHY
I know it doesn't sound very original, but nevertheless, it's true: Treat others like you want to be treated yourself. We're not alone on this planet and it's amazing that with a very small gesture you can actually make someone's day!
Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a little double with this: I love movies with a message, that really make you think and about which you can philosophize for hours. At the same time, I also like detectives and read authors like John Grisham and Wilbur Smith that are not exactly high-level literature.
Favourite movies: Fate Ignoranti, Mine Vaganti, O Auto da Compadacida, Do Começo ao Fim, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Goodbye Lenin, Oeroeg, Avatar.
I'm very much interested in other countries and cultures and in what's happening in the world. I read the news several times a day and can spend hours on Wikipedia.
My music taste is very diverse (or you may call it weird ;-). I love music with ethical/folk influence: fado, Greek, Israeli, Ethiopian, Brazilian, etc.
My favorite artists are Mariza, Rihanna, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Marisa Monte, Harel Skaat, Omer Adam, ABBA, Céline Dion (especially in French), etc.
